Dozens of people have been killed in a series of suicide attacks in south-western Afghanistan, according to officials.
Senior police officials in Nimroz province said that at least four different locations in the provincial capital of Zaranj had been hit.
At least 35 people have been killed and at least 80 injured.
The bombers struck at a market where people were preparing to celebrate the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Deputy provincial police chief Mujibullah Latifi said that some of the attackers had been killed by police.
"There have been heavy casualties; the majority of them are civilians," he said.
Zaranj, near the Iranian border, is a relatively affluent and peaceful city.
